How it works

   Contact your health centre

   A doctor or psychologist at the health centre where you are registered assesses whether psychotherapy within Vårdval is suitable for you and, if so, writes a referral.

   Choose a practice

   Once the referral has been written you can choose an affiliated psychotherapy practice.

3. 3

   Contact me and send in the referral

   The referral needs to be submitted, via 1177 or by post, before we book a time.

4. 4

   Book your first visit

   When the referral has been received, we book a time together.

Referral and booking

If you have received a referral and would like to see me, you are welcome to get in touch, first via 1177. We can then look at available times and how you go ahead with booking.

What you can get help with

Within Vårdval Psykoterapi I can help with:

• Mild to moderate depression
• Anxiety, panic disorder and phobias
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Stress-related conditions

The first visit

At the first visit we go through your situation and what you want help with, and we plan the treatment together. At least three of the first four sessions take place as physical visits at my practice in Malmö. After that we can hold sessions digitally when we agree that it suits you.

Your rights

You choose the practice within Vårdval Psykoterapi yourself, and you can change practice if you wish. This applies before the fifth session. Your referring health centre receives information about the treatment according to the current routine.
